  1. Do I need to be a registered user on www.mihipita.lk to use its services?

You will need to complete our free registration and log in to the site before you can post Ads. It is not necessary to be a registered user if you only browse advertisements. However logged in users will be able to benefit some of our additional  features like,

 * Making a list of their favorite Ads while searching.

* Having the ability to easily list and edit all the Ads they've posted so far.

* Rating and commenting on other Ads published on www.mihipita.lk.

 

  1. How do I post Ads?

Posting Ads on www.mihipita.lk is quick and easy!

 * Simply click “Post your Ad” button at the top right of the page and follow the instructions to fill out the required information.

* We will send you a confirmation email once we have received your Ad.

* Your Ad will be reviewed and published if it meets our “Terms and Conditions”.

 

  1. How do I delete my Ads?

* Log in to www.mihipita.lk and go to “Your Account” page. Go to “Your Ads” and select the Ad and click on the delete button.

 

  1. How do I edit my Ads?

Note: once you edit your Ad, it will not be visible on the site and will need go through our review process again to check if it meets our "Terms and Conditions" before being republished on the website.

 * Log in to www.mihipita.lk and go to “Your Account” page. Go to “Your Ads” and select the Ad and click on the edit button. Make the required changes and click on submit button.

 

  1. How do I register for a free user account on www.mihipita.lk?

Registering for an account on www.mihipita.lk is quick, easy and completely free!

 * Go to the registration page by clicking “Register” at the top right of our website. Fill in and submit the basic                               registration form.

* Once you registered, an automatic verification link will be sent to your email to verify that you own the email address you provided.

* Your account will be activated once you click on the verification link received in your email.

 

  1. How do I Login to my account?

* Registered users on www.mihipita.lk:  If you are not registered yet, please follow step 5.

   Simply click on the "Log in" button to the top right of the website and enter your “User name” and “Password”.

 

  1. How do I Log out from my account?

Simply click on the “Log out” button to the top of the page.

 

  1. How do I change my account details?

Log in to www.mihipita.lk and click on "Your Account" at the top of the page. Go to "User Profile" and click on  “Edit Profile” button where you can edit your information.

 

  1. How do I set a new Password for my account with www.mihipita.lk?

Log in to www.mihipita.lk and click on "Your Account" at the top of the page. Go to "User Profile" and click on  “Edit Profile” button where you can edit your password.

 

  1. I have forgotten my Username for www.mihipita.lk. How to recall?

* Go to the “Log in” page. Click “Forgot Your Username”

* Enter your email address you used to register with us.

* An email will be sent you an email reminding your Username.

 

  1. I have forgotten my Password for www.mihipita.lk. How to recall?

* Go to the "Log in" page. Click “Forgot Your Password”

* Enter your email address you used to register with us.

* We will send you an email with a verification code.

* Click on the verification code to reset your Password.

  

  1. For how long the Ads will stay published on www.mihipita.lk?

You can select the duration of Ads from 7 days to 3 months at the time you post your Ad on www.mihipita.lk. You can delete the Ads at any time or renew the duration before 3 days of your current Ad expiry date.

 

  1. I posted an Ad but can't find it. What's wrong?

You can keep a track of your Ads easily by logging in to "Your Account" and visiting "Your Ads" page!

Your Ad may not be active for following reasons:

 * It is still under review - this will show on "Your Ads" page, as “unpublished" or "inactive” state.

* It may have violated "Terms and Conditions" of www.mihipita.lk.

 If your Ad has not been published within 24 hours of posting and if you are sure its content  did not violate our "Terms and Conditions", you can contact us with the “Ad reference number" in the email notification we sent you for the receipt of your Ad.        

 

  1. Why my Ad has been rejected?

We may review all Ads before they are published. Ads which do not meet "Terms and Conditions" of www.mihipita.lk will not be published and will be rejected with no notifications to the user.

 If your Ad has not been published within 24 hours of posting and if you are sure you did not violate our "Terms and Conditions", you may contact us with the “Ad reference number" in the email notification we sent you for the receipt of your Ad.

 

  1. I'm getting contacted about an Ad which I didn't post. Can you help me?

Please check if the said advertisement is actually on mihipita.lk and shows your contact number in it. If yes contact us immediately using the "Report Abuse" facility available to the right side of the advert display page or email us via abuse@mihipita.lk with details of the incident you faced.

 

  1. I haven't received any response for my Ads. What's wrong?

If you are not receiving responses to your Ads, we recommend taking a look at our support article on "How to Sell Fast”.
